皇恩浩蕩 

  日本地震災區的庇護所缺水缺物資情況仍然嚴重。昨日讀到一則報道,指日本天皇得知災民自大地震後一直沒有洗過澡,於是下命開放靠近災民的一處行宮,讓災民可以到行宮的職員宿舍洗澡。當局每天安排兩班巴士,每車可接載數十名災民前往沖涼。

  願意救民於缺水之中,更破天荒的開放行宮員工宿舍,有議論說明這是「皇恩浩蕩」呀!足見天皇多麼的關懷災民。

  無論如何,讓受災百姓減少一些不舒服,總是好事情。不過,除了感謝天皇外,也應想想為何震後十天仍沒法為庇護所提供足夠的水和電呢?新聞報道沒有說明何處的災民將被安排到行宮沖涼,洗浴一次要化多小時間在旅途上,從地圖上粗略查看,行宮離福島縣市中心約有五小時車程。行宮在風景秀麗的山上,本屬皇室御用,並沒有準備對外開放的,救災還要動用到皇宮,故然可以說皇上愛民若子,但政府官員們又所幹何事?都說日本是世界第二富裕國家,網上哈日的言論都說日本政府救災更勝中國云云,只是每天安排一百幾十人洗澡,就要連皇宮也動用到嗎?

  既然不少有心喋喋不休地要比較中日救災,就拿沖涼比一比吧。日本災民十天沒沖涼,因而被安排坐車到皇宮的職員宿舍洗澡。而中國雲南盈江在日本大地震前一天也發生了5.8級地震,筆者在上周已看到電視報道解放軍派出軍用熱水淋浴設施到災區,讓斷水的災民可以沖熱水浴。

What can this figure head do but to be used by the propaganda machine to make news?

Just be lucky that he doesn't say "let them eat cakes.".

IMO 比較中日救災 is indeed pointless, however if country can improves the disaster recovery process by learning how other countries reacts to it, is definitely helpful - if they are willing do that.

On a separate note, how China government sent their troops on foot and by airborne in the Szechuan earthquake to support the survivors there, still impress many press and general public around the world.
