政客語言

政客語言

  這些年來,台灣的政治舞台好戲連場,近日政客之間互相攻訐所用的語言,也越來越出位。國民黨籍立委責問教育部長杜正勝是甚麼「碗糕」,部長陰笑回應說,女子不應講如此粗話。原來在台灣話裡,「啥米碗糕」確是涉及性比喻的下流罵人粗話。女立委可能沒有深究詞意,可是,當總統的陳水扁也曾在大庭廣眾,電視鏡頭前高聲責問中華民國是甚麼「碗糕」。不單如此,扁總統近日經常把那以L為首的兩個英文字母掛在嘴邊,且越講越大習慣,一點不覺得失身分。

  政客能如此口不擇言,公然使用下流語言而沾沾自喜,無非是因為他們從中得到好處。別以為政客都成為市井流氓,政客的敏感度是極高的,那些話可以為自己帶來最大的利益,他們很明白。特定語言指向特定聽眾,陳水扁今日的嬉皮笑臉,除了是發自內心的喜悅外,更多是要讓他僅餘的支持者不要洩氣,讓他們看到威風的扁總統。
  
  普選制度下的政客是靠口才多於實務才能,陳水扁就是靠他那三吋不爛之舌而擋住千軍萬馬。美國政客也是一樣,只是文化不一樣,政治人物極少要用通俗粗話來吸引或討好選民。但道理是一樣的,要講選民愛聽的話。又如香港的立法會補選,候選人參加在香港大學舉行的候選人辯論會,各人唇槍舌劍一番,陳太努力推銷自己是「良心」,但卻完全不必引申說明何謂良心,因為良心一詞形成一種普遍印象,她只要成功把自己標籤起來便成功了。
  
  筆者腦子不停在想,一套社會制度的完善運作,人民能安居樂業,民權得到保障,真的需要一群只會嘴巴工作的政客嗎?他們好話說盡,風頭出盡,但與民生實務又有多少相干呢?法制似乎比做秀的政客更可靠和實惠。

Dirty language/usage is never invented or used first by the Taiwanese politicians. It exists in the United States too.

It is better to use attack mode in bad situations. Still it is an ounce better than fist fights in the meeting chamber as we saw on TV news.

Nixon did that before. Even Prince Charles said something before the new crews thought that his dirty words were not recorded. He was so wrong. Dirty words were recorded.

Politicians are just ordinary people. They have emotions. THey show emotions. We saw this emotions because cameras are always in front of their faces.
