I guess your country applies to everywhere, even Madison, WI; not far from here. It does not have to be overseas, or foreign lands. I just wonder when it started to tie labor movements to democracy. Labor unions just to want collective bargaining to gain better wages and employment benefits for their members. Democracy? They care less. They would rather sit in front of the TV set watching football games.
